Therapy
Therapy is a space to ask questions, notice how you’re relating to your experiences, and explore what’s getting in the way of living in line with what is important to you.
In sessions, we use conversation, metaphors, experiential exercises, observation of patterns, along with small commitments between sessions. The aim is to help you notice what’s happening and take steps toward your values, in a way that fits your process, your pace, and what feels most useful in each moment.
My approach is grounded in Contextual Behavioral Science, including intervention models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), which support a deeply human and personal process, as well as effective and evidence based.
The Therapeutic Process
1
Getting to know each other
We start by creating a safe space where you can share what brings you here, at your own pace.
2
Understanding your experience
Together we explore your difficulties and what matters most to you, looking at patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
3
Clarifying values and goals
We identify what truly matters in your life and set goals that feel meaningful and motivating.
4
Experiential work in session
Therapy is not just about talking—we practice new ways of relating to your thoughts, emotions, and relationships right in the session. You’ll bring these experiences into your everyday life, step by step, building flexibility and connection with what’s important.
5
Follow-up and growth
We review progress together, celebrating changes and supporting you in maintaining and expanding them over time.
